Handy Cabins was conceived during the 2020 lockdown, born out of necessity when my agricultural contracting business was deemed non-essential. Determined to retain my staff, I sought an essential service aligned with their skills, leading to the inception of Handy Cabins in May 2020. Throughout the lockdowns, we persevered, ensuring continuous employment for my team and laying the foundation for our future.
Driven by passion and determination, we initially focused on constructing smaller cabins for rent. With each project, we refined our process, gradually expanding to design larger cabins and eventually our first self-contained unit in October 2022, marking a significant milestone at 6m x 2.7m. Our dedication to quality and innovation garnered attention, evidenced by a client's purchase of three cabins in the subsequent year.
Four years later, having proudly delivered 100+ tiny homes to satisfied customers, our track record speaks volumes about our dedication to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. At Handy Cabins, we don't just build homes; we craft living experiences tailored to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each client.
Handy Cabins boasts its most popular self-contained unit at 9.6m x 3m. As we strive for excellence, we are currently finalizing the design of our first 12m x 3.6m and 12.6m x 4.2m units, with the ultimate goal of achieving Code of Compliance for all our self-contained units. Whether it's a cozy retreat nestled in the countryside or an urban oasis in the heart of the city, we are passionate about turning dreams into reality, one meticulously designed tiny home at a time.
